The return of Bessie, la flâneuse à Paris 2012

We returned to Paris on 1 February 2012. The temperature was -5 degrees.
We are here for 4 months. Once again, for me to be immersed in French. Already, it does seem all a bit easier this time around.
Have been a bit jet lagged and got up at 4am today. The temperature was -7 degrees and then went down to
-9 degrees.
Today, we walked to the apartment we stayed in last year in rue de la Ferronnerie in the 1st arrondissement. It took us an hour. It was so cold and there was snow in the gutters and any liquid we saw, for example dog's wee, was turned into ice. At the moment, Paris is very cold but the sky is bright and sunny.

Left Melbourne on 31 January. It was a long flight. We stopped in Singapore, Dubai and then on to Paris. This is the first time we have not stayed for a few nights at the main stopover city. I would not do this again. I would prefer having a few nights stopover.

Watch this blog. I will keep it up to date and also I will fill in the few gaps, like a month, from our last time here in Paris.
